Called to God Memento Mori then fired the design withCalled to God. This ring features my hand painted hot enamel painting of a tornado descending upon a tiny farm. The ring band is etched with my original micropoem that reads, "The leaves stood up straight as if called to God." The poem is meant to read as a poetic eye witness account of the moments before a tornado strike. I create the enameled scene by "painting" with powdered glass on thin steel using tiny brushes and various scraping tools. I fire
