JUNE 15 • COLLAGES A LA SALOUA with Nedda Atassi Ticket:Child Tamasha became stigmatisedSaloua Raouda Choucair (1916 2017) was a Lebanese artist whose mixed media practice spanned painting, sculpture, drawing, and design. She synthesized early Islamic influences with the principles of modern abstraction, creating work that was at once architectural and poetic, universal and distinctly Arab. In this exploratory workshop, we will make paper and cardboard collages inspired by the motifs of Choucairs oil paintings, playing with color, line,
